“A lot of people will be generous and open-minded enough to see me as other people. But I think that to a lot of people I will always be Harry. However, there’s one thing that might work in my favour, and that’s that I’m still going to change so much, I hope. I’m not going to grow – that’s tough luck – but hopefully the change in me physically will help people disassociate me from Potter. But I would never want to dismiss it because it has given me every opportunity. You know, people say to me, “Are you worried about being typecast?” – I’ve got to say no. I haven’t been so far, so I don’t know why I should in the future.”

I interpreted that line not as Thor dismissing Loki’s place in his family, but as trying to excuse his issues.  Like, “oh he killed 80 people in two days well uh he has issues because he’s adopted,” not “oh he killed 80 people in two days he’s not REALLY part of the family.”  Not that using “lol he’s adopted” as reasoning for Loki’s psychosis isn’t problematic, but it’s really out of character for Thor to casually dismiss the bond he’s fighting for.

DEAR GOD THANK YOU

MISSING THE POINT IT IS FUNNIER TO THINK THOR IS DISMISSING HIM

even though we know he’s not.

IT’S STILL FUNNY.

For seven years, Draco has carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, and just when he thinks he’ll be released, something happens that will make him seek help from the last person he could have imagined.
